Plot
summary:
Before
moving to Hollywood
and
calling himself Clark, “Billy” Gable
struggles as a young actor in
Oregon.
After a few minor successes, he finds
himself trapped in a love triangle with
actress Franz Dorfler and drama coach
Josephine Dillon. When Franz hits the road
with a traveling troupe, Billy becomes
Josephine’s prize pupil. She
helps transform him from rough character
actor to polished leading man. Billy
must reconcile his feelings for Franz while
deciding the future of his acting career.
